The Tennessee Theatre is a stunning place to visit. It was recently remodeled and the improvements have made a wonderful difference. It looks very fancy and it really takes you back in time. They sometimes show old movies and it's a great place to take your children.
Great place to catch a classic

This theatre was recently entirely redecorated. It's very close to the appearance when it opened, about 1940. The best thing about the remodeling is the new sound system. It's great. The theatre hosts a variety of musical acts, but it shows black and white classic movies almost every weekend. At Christmas, it's great to go see It's a Wonderful Life there. It's a lot different than seeing it only on t.v. The seating is very comfortable and, even though it's not stadium-style, there's not a bad seat in the house.
Go for the Show, but Look at the Building!

The Tennessee Theatre has just undergone a backbreaking restoration and is absolutely beautiful. The large theatre is a shining example of the culture and history of Knoxville. Any trip to Knoxville would be incomplete without at least seeing the Tennessee Theatre and its beautiful architecture.
